Developing Professionals Program

The Developing Professionals program is a cornerstone initiative by the Mid America CropLife Association (MACA) designed to equip early-career professionals in the agricultural industry with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. Through this program, participants will:
Build Essential Soft Skills: Learn vital interpersonal and communication skills that are key to thriving in any professional environment. Our workshops and mentorship opportunities focus on leadership, teamwork, and effective communication.
Gain Industry Insight: Delve deep into the agricultural sector with expert-led sessions on current trends, challenges, and innovations. Whether you’re new to the industry or looking to expand your knowledge, this program will give you a comprehensive understanding of the crop protection landscape.
Network with Leaders: Connect with seasoned professionals and peers through MACA’s vast network. Build relationships that will support your career growth and open doors to new opportunities within the industry.

Requirements
- 35 years old or younger.
- AT LEAST 4 years in the industry but NO MORE THAN 7 years in the industry.
- Attend MACA Lunch and Learn virtual presentations to learn about industry issues.
- Attend 4 Developing Professional virtual training sessions.
- Attend MACA Annual Meeting September 8-10, 2026 in Omaha, NE (Preferred, not Required) and Attend MACA Annual Meeting September 7-9, 2027 – Location TBD. (Required).
- Your company will cover your costs of the meeting registration and travel expenses to the Annual Meetings.
